Rykard would be really strong without it, strong enough to go to to town with Maliketh with a weapon. His potential and immortality is really impressive with his snake form. He does take a hit in terms of mobility but it seems like his sword might be super effective against golden order members. He still has his lava and death sorceries

I want to get the sword but idk if the sorcery is useful,too. (for PvE) Rykard's rancor is absolutely fantastic. In PVE is perfect to obliterate big bosses like ulcerated spirits. In PVP the enemy is forced to run away from the trail to not get hit and this gives you time to buff, debuff or just cast it again !
